Guest posting is available for the Healing Your Truth Series.  I would like to feature women who have healed and/or are in the process of healing emotional wounds from childhood. Childhood wounding in my definition can be anything that altered the way you viewed yourself and/or the world (divorce, loss of a parent, verbal, emotional, physical or sexual abuse, bullying, neglect)  Some of us have specific memories, some of us don’t. Some of us may have felt unloved as children but cannot pinpoint why. I invite any woman who is on her healing path to contribute.

The details:

I will send you a list of questions for you to answer either in written form or through a response video (hosted on your own youtube or vimeo channel and embedded on the Finding Your Voice of Truth blog.  You may also use the questions as guide as write your post in narrative form instead of interview form.  Please make sure to touch on all points in the questions if you choose to write your post as a narrative.  It will also be featured on the Finding Your Voice of Truth Facebook page. Feel free to let others know where to find you, what you are doing these days and any links to your blog/site.  You can also post it at the end of your video if you choose the video option. Be sure to include a pic or two with your guest post which you have a right to use or have permission from the photographer if the pic is not your own. If you happen to art journal you can also include of pic of your art. Please specify whether you want to use your full name, first name only or a pseudonym.  Feel free to share your post with others if you so choose on social media sites.

I want to allow others a place to speak their truth about where they have been and where they are going. The intention is to inspire through your courage to speak your truth as well as what you have done to heal your life.  I also would like to share the many paths to healing with my audience.  There are so many ways to heal and many of us only know of therapy as one way. While therapy is essential in my opinion, it does not address everything. Often creativity is not explored, the body is ignored and the spiritual is unspoken.  I would like to open up the discussion of how we can heal mind, body and spirit.

Be very sure that whatever you choose to share is something you are ready to put out there in cyberspace.  Check in with yourself. Am I ready to speak my truth in this public forum? If so, then proceed, if not do not feel guilty…this is not for everyone. Some people will highly benefit from being able to do this and others may not. Be your own guide.

You can email me at sgagos@aol.com and I will send you the questions.  Once you have submitted your piece I will let you know the date it will be posted.  Depending on how many people contribute, the frequency of posting will be one to two guest posts per week.
