I am humbled often by the women who join the sanctuary.
It is not lost on me what a big step that is.
It is not lost on me that you come with your wounded heart and trust me with your truth.
It is not lost on me that it takes a lot of courage to take any of my courses.
That it takes even more courage to see it through.
It is not lost on me the effort and guts it takes to do this kind of childhood abuse and sexual abuse recovery.
I want you to know you are not lost on me and all that it takes for you to show up, to engage, to participate, to reach out, to ask for support, to share your shame and risk vulnerability.
I am humbled by this work and the great responsibility of this work every single day. The fact that you take a chance after having been betrayed as you have, a chance on me and a chance with your fellow sisters, is a testament to your spirit and your commitment to open up, to not shut down and to heal.
Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be a part of the journey.
